Hands of Health is a student-led initiative with a mission to bring health equity awareness by providing essential hygiene products in the forms of kits to underserved communities through community-driven efforts and partnerships with local & national organizations. We offer a bunch of opportunities for everyone from volunteering, executive team, to even becoming a chapter founder.
Hands of Health's mission is more than just handing our hygiene products — it is a message of care, dignity, and support. Each donation, product or card, reminds the recipient that they are seen, valued, and not alone. In moments of hardship, these simple items offer more than hygiene; they restore a sense of hope and community.
Once you complete the chapter interest form, you attend a scheduled orientation with us which discusses your responsibilities among other things. After attending the scheduled orientation you can create an Instagram account and continue as a chapter leader from there.
As a chapter founder responsibilities include organizing events, social media, and maintaining leadership. You host fundraisers like restaurant partnerships to raise money. Additionally, you can host hygiene drives! Managing your chapter's Instagram is also regularly posting content like and updates.
Of course! Chapters can just be different clubs. Or an addition to a club you already have! Additionally, you can organize hygiene drive, which can be both in-person and online, where participants learn about health equity and donate.
